In times of growing Antisemitism teachers are challenged to enable their students to recognize connections between the present and historical events of the Nazi era, which they have not lived through. While lecture and lessons are essential, experien-tial learning leads to more personal involvement of the students and encourages them, to take influence in today`s society und get actively involved. Whether offered in history, language, or art classes, experiential learning is a vital tool for stimulating curiosity, cultivating reflection, empathy, and team spirit, and strength-ening critical thinking in students of all ages. You’ll participate in the same program offered in the classroom and explore ways to adapt it and other learning tools to your students’ needs. The workshop will be in Eng-lish, however participants may speak German in their small groups.
