START - Scholarship
START is dedicated to promoting the potential and commitment of young people with a history of migration, accompanying them on their educational path and providing impetus for social change.
For three years, the scholarship holders are accompanied on their personal and academic path and receive both non-material and material support. Non-material support is at the heart of the START scholarship.
The scholarship holders not only benefit from financial support for their educational expenses, but also from personal support from the START country coordinators and a comprehensive educational program. Thanks to the wide range of opportunities and the interaction within the scholarship, the scholarship holders' individual skills and interests are developed into effective skills, existing talents are further developed and the young people are encouraged to actively tackle their goals and play an active role in shaping their school career.
Who can apply?
All pupils who
- are 14 years old
- go to school for at least one more year
- immigrated to Germany or are the child of an immigrant parent
