A project of the Cologne Adult Education Center in cooperation with the Municipal Integration Center and the Learning Region - Cologne Network

In the vacation project talentCAMPus können Kinder und Jugendliche ihre Stärken und Talente erforschen. Etwa 140 Kinder und Jugendliche im Alter von 9 – 14 Jahren nehmen jedes Jahr zwei Wochen in den Sommerferien an diesem Projekt teil. Es findet in der Henry-Ford-Realschule in Köln-Chorweiler statt und richtet sich an Kölner Kinder und Jugendliche, die in besonderen Lebenssituationen sind und beispielsweise neu zugewandert sind.

The aim of the project is to promote the creativity and skills of children and young people. By actively engaging with art and culture, they can develop new interests and perspectives, make friends and also improve their German language skills.

Angeboten werden Workshops zu einer Palette von Themen, von Rap/Hiphop, Singen und Tanz, Zeichnen, Schneidern, Einradfahren bis hin zu sozialem Lernen. Die Workshops werden montags bis freitags von 9 bis 16 Uhr durchgeführt. Alle Angebote sind kostenlos inklusive einer Mittagsverpflegung und ggf. KVB Tickets.

Das Kommunale Integrationszentrum der Stadt Köln beteiligt sich an der finanziellen Förderung des Projektes und bewirbt das Projekt bei den Schulen.
