The Municipal Integration Center cordially invites all cooperation partners, interested parties and colleagues to this year’s Interkulturelles Köln conference!
Democracy is not a given – it thrives on the engagement of the people who uphold and shape it. In the face of increasing social polarization, targeted disinformation campaigns, growing anti-democratic tendencies, and profound political global changes, democracy faces particular challenges today. It is all the more important to protect democratic values, strengthen social cohesion, and encourage people to get actively involved. Democracy requires dialogue, responsibility, and the willingness to tolerate different perspectives, to find viable compromises for all, and to develop solutions together. Under the guiding principle „Protecting, strengthening, and (co-)creating democracy“ We would like to discuss this topic, exchange experiences, and generate impulses for a vibrant democratic culture in our city.

The event is supported by sign language interpreters (except for the workshops) and an awareness team.
Registration:
Please book a ticket for the event below. Since the workshops take place simultaneously, only one workshop per person is available. Participation is booked at the conference along with your workshop selection. You will receive an automatic email following the event confirming your registration and another email asking you to confirm your booking.
If you decide at a later date that you cannot participate, we kindly ask you to cancel your registration via the appropriate link in the email, allowing others to participate as the places are limited.
