Conference Intercultural Cologne
The city of Cologne has decided that the „Intercultural Cologne Conference“ will take place from 2016. Previously, from 2005 to 2015, it was called the „Cologne Integration Conference“. The aim of the conference is to ensure that all people have equal opportunities. They should be able to participate in life in the city.
The Municipal Integration Center is planning the conference. A group with many important partners helps with this. This group is called the steering group. It includes, for example, the Cologne Integration Council and the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, the Intercultural Centers and the Office for Foreigners.
The aim is to discuss how best to support people with a history of immigration and how all Cologne residents can become part of a common urban society. The aim is also to find ways to give everyone the same opportunities.
Immigrants and their opinions are particularly important in the preparation and implementation of the conference.
Here you will find the documentation of conferences that have taken place in recent years.
