In January 2026, a new, free service for fathers with an international family history was launched in Cologne as part of the state's „Fatherhood Work“ funding program.

 

After extensive training by experts at the Municipal Integration Center, three mentors talk to fathers in several languages:

 

• Education of the children
• Life in the family
• Problems and questions in everyday life
• Other topics that are important to the participants

 

The meetings take place approximately once a month.

 

Father-child events and excursions are also planned.
