What is the FerienIntensivTraining - FIT in Deutsch?
The FIT in German program helps newly immigrated pupils to learn German better. It is a supplement to German lessons at school.
The courses take place during the Easter, summer and fall vacations. This allows children and young people to practise and improve their German during the vacations.
Pupils with different languages of origin learn together in the courses. Digital learning media are also used.
What happens in the course?
The course is not just about traditional language teaching.
Pupils learn how to use German in everyday life - for example when shopping, on an excursion or when speaking to other people.
There are lots of activities and excursions. The students can directly apply and practise what they have learned there.
Between 18 and 25 pupils study in one course. Breakfast and lunch are served together every day.
Participation in the course, meals and excursions are free of charge.
