The area Educational counseling is a part of the Municipal Integration Center Cologne. The focus here is on all children and young people with an international family history, to give them good educational opportunities. That is why we help from the very beginning in the early childhood education, in school and youth work and also when starting training, studying or working. In this way, we want to lay the foundations early on so that children and young people can cope well in life and at work later on. 
We show what services are available from the city and other agencies in the area of early childhood education.
We offer School counseling and lateral entry counseling for newly immigrated families to. 
We offer advice on projects and programs such as talentCampus, PROMPT! in the international support class, START - Scholarship and Rucksack School. 

Also the ZMI - Center for Multilingualism and Integration as a cooperative institution of the City of Cologne, the District Government of Cologne and the University of Cologne, offers city-wide Education, qualification and participation programs programs.
